It turns out, a weekend getaway capturing happy-go-lucky babes is literally the key to my heart. With this sweet nugget's first birthday right around the corner, I headed to Greenville, South Carolina for the day to adventure with this darling lil personality and his family! As a pre-mature success story thanks to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Greenville Memorial Hospital, Emerson cheerfully modeled alongside his parents to grace my camera with big blue eyes, chubster cheeks, and lots and LOTS of giggles.
Having the honor of capturing these memories for Emerson's family was a dream come true, and I am so thankful for opportunities like this maintaining my love for photography. Take a scroll and get ready to smile! Enjoy!
Favorite. Shoot. EVER! Zoe - an engineer brainiac headed off to #adulthood post-graduation - reached out to me as a friend-of-a-friend. She was ecstatic about the potential to photograph her senior graduation shoot in the season of crisp weather and colorful leaves. Man oh man did we luck OUT.
This session was taken on a perfectly overcast day in the middle of November. We traversed our way through the campus of Georgia Tech, hitting spots like Tech Tower, the Campanile, and Skiles Walkway. Not only did Zoe have an effortlessly beautiful smile, she was also so game to try new poses and new locations I'd never shot before. The results blew both of us away!
Take a scroll through this colorful and joyful shoot, and let us both know what you think. Trust me when I say, you might want to go jump in a pile of leaves after this one.
Be still my HEART! Bunny and John have been my favorite couple to photograph since day one (literally... they were my first couple's shoot wayyy before I knew much about anything). When Bunny asked if I'd be interested in doing an update and adventure around Augusta, Georgia during the holidays, I dropped all winter break plans and ran home to my camera. And BOY am I glad I did.
The light during this shoot blew my mind - to the point of literally squealing at them to "stop right where you are and don't move a muscle, I am FREAKING out."
With sweet smiles, sunlight rooftops, and Christmas wreaths galore, this shoot tops my list as a favorite of all time.
With a refreshed intrinsic pull to brand a new blog site, my sweet friend Greycen approached me in January of 2016 with an adventurous spirit to capture her visions around Midtown Atlanta (in FRIGID temps, mind you). With cameras and coffees and beanies galore, we made our way through West Side Midtown and then drove a bit further to explore a conservation park nearby.
What came of this dusk, wintry shoot were the following images! Personally I LOVE the way she craved cozy poses and grainy edits, and so that's just what I tried to deliver. Give me a smiling model, a white brick ball, and I am THRIVING.
Next time you see Greycen, don't be surprised if she's running a social enterprise empowering women worldwide toward independent ventures. The girl's a textbook #girlboss, and I'm so honored to have her as a friend.
HEYO! My name is Chloe and I talk with my hands. I get really excited about almond lattes, filtering real things with more warmth (literally and figuratively), and adventures with my people. Seeing a vine climbing on a wall makes my heart skip a beat, and watching the sun set behind a skyline?
